Please be
patient if the download does not start immediately. NOTE: If you're using Internet Explorer,
you may see a yellow strip across the top of the web page that begins, "To help protect your
security,...." Click the yellow strip, then select Download File. From there the download
should proceed normally. The name of the file you're downloading should start with
"mbam-setup-" then some version numbers. When the download is complete, double click the file

Trend Micro Housecall FREE Online Scan (link current as of 06/30/2011)
On this
page, click the download link for either the 32-bit or 64-bit depending on your particular
system needs. If you're unsure, we recommend downloading the 32-bit. ON the following screen on the gray, left side (NOT the red, right side) click
the gray Get Housecall Now button for the 32-bit version, or the link below for the 64-bit
version. When prompted, click Run (as opposed to Save) to begin, then accept the terms and
conditions. On the next screen, click the Settings link under the blue Scan Now button. Select
Full System Scan, click OK, then click the blue Scan Now button.
Avast Antivirus Free Edition (link current as of 08/25/2011)
Install
this outstanding free antivirus program as a replacement for your current program, especially
if your current program has expired. One great feature is that this program will
actually speak to you (assuming your sound is on) telling you when it's updated its virus
definitions, or if it detects a threat. Once Avast is installed, if you see a warning on
your screen telling you to, "Quick do this!" but your computer hasn't actually spoken to you,
you'll know that the warning is bogus. PLEASE NOTE:
Do NOT click on the advertisement. Click the Download Now link below and to the left as
shown in the example below.
