Due to the vast number of email programs and mobile devices on the market today, we are unable to provide click-by-click instructions for them all. If you’re setting up email on a desktop or laptop computer, you may call the number above, and we should be able to assist you. If you’re setting up email on a tablet, smart phone, or other mobile device, we recommend you note the settings below, and contact the entity from which you obtained the device. If you’re unable to reach them or if they’re not so helpful, you may call us at the number above, and we’ll see what we can do. However please be aware that we may not be able to assist you with mobile devices beyond providing the following information. Below are the email settings that must be entered into your email program or mobile device.
Outlook users can use the following links: 2007 and higher – 2002/XP and 2003 – 2000
USERNAME NOTE: If there is a separate spot for a User ID, User Name, or Account Name in addition to just the email address, it must be the full email address, not just the part before the “@” sign.
USERNAME/PASSWORD NOTE: Usernames and passwords are NOT optional, they are REQUIRED, despite what it may say in those fields on some mobile devices.
NOTE ABOUT SWITCHING TO ENCRYPTION with a POP account: Because it’s necessary to change the server name when switching from an unencrypted to an encrypted connection, some email programs view any mail still on the server as “new” and may download it again, creating duplicates in your inbox. To avoid this, login to webmail first, create a new folder, and move any mail that has already been retrieved from your webmail inbox folder to the new folder.
